Pony Encounter for Kids and Families

Our Kid’s Horse Encounter is a gentle, engaging, and confidence-building introduction to horses—designed especially for children ages 2–12. This 60-minute experience blends education, hands-on learning, and joy, creating meaningful early connections between children and horses.

During the session, children are introduced to our horses and ponies in a calm, supportive environment. They learn how to lead, groom, tie, tack, and care for a horse, gaining comfort and understanding through guided interaction. The experience concludes with a guided pony ride, allowing each child to enjoy time in the saddle with confidence and delight.

This encounter is ideal for first-time riders and young animal lovers, helping children overcome hesitation while fostering respect, curiosity, and trust. It is as enriching as it is fun—and often becomes a favorite memory for both children and parents alike.

• Children ages 3 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who walks alongside the child. Note, children that already have a bike or skateboard helmets are encouraged to bring them.
