This one-hour ride is the perfect introduction to trail riding for families with children age 6 to 12. Kids are ponied alongside our experienced guides, but get to ride their own horse. This is a safe and fun way for the entire family to have a lifelong memory and enjoy a real trail ride together.

The Magical Pony Encounter is the perfect first step toward horseback riding for kids age 2 and up. The one-hour session includes detailed instruction on how to lead, groom, tack, and ride. Children are encouraged to groom, decorate and pet the ponies prior to riding, which is a great way to break down any fear barriers. The kids enjoy ample time in the saddle as they are hand-guided around our arena and then down the trail to the woods and back. Unicorns available on request!

The 10-Ride Package entitles you to 10 individual, 60-minute rides along the beautiful Santa Ynez River. Or, the package can be shared with multiple riders, or used as a group-rate discount for two groups of 5 riders. It’s a great deal and saves $390!

Located at our new River View Park facility in Buellton, we offer year-round small-group and private rides on our gentle, retired champion horses—no experience needed!
