Scenic Horseback Adventures along the Santa Ynez River

Enjoy a scenic horseback adventure along the beautiful Santa Ynez River—perfect for families, couples, and horse lovers of all ages. Choose from a one-hour, 75-minute, or 90-minute guided ride through the stunning Santa Rita Hills, rustic woods, and serene river crossings. Each ride offers a chance to spot local wildlife such as deer, eagles, and beavers in their natural habitat. Children ages 8 and up with previous riding experience are welcome, with an additional guide fee for each rider under 12 to ensure safety and comfort. Rides are limited to 5 guests per session, keeping each experience personal and memorable.

• Riders depart our cozy stable nestled along the tranquil Santa Rita Hills canyon, cross the river, then head toward a bustling beaver dam, all the while encountering abundant wildlife flourishing in their natural surroundings.
• Rides are offered daily year-round. No riding experience is necessary. All horses and ponies are retired champion show, rodeo or race horses, so it’s fun for advanced riders, too. Rides are small group or private, upon request.
• All rides by appointment. Located 1 mile west of Avenue of the Flags in Buellton at beautiful River View Park.
